Substance Use Disorder in Primary Care Coaching and Mentoring Sessions

Live coaching and mentoring sessions to complement the on-demand Patient-Centered Treatment of Substance Use Disorder in Primary Care Learning Series

During these live 30-minute coaching and mentoring sessions, participants of the on-demand Patient Centered Treatment of Substance Use Disorder in Primary Care Learning Series will have the opportunity to interact with series faculty and other care teams working to implement office-based addiction treatment (OBAT). Each session will be focused on two modules from the series and participants will be able to submit questions for faculty consideration in advance. Prior participation in at least one of the modules to be discussed during the session is a pre-requisite for attendance.

These sessions are intended for participants of the Patient Centered Treatment of Substance Use Disorder in Primary Care Learning Series who are interested in further discussion, community learning, or have further questions for series faculty.

Cameron Risma, MD

Dr. Cameron Risma is currently a psychiatry resident at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services. He completed his medical school education at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine and an Addiction Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic.

Robin Schreur, BS, RN, CCM

Robin Schreur is a trainer for the Michigan Center for Clinical Systems Improvement (Mi-CCSI). She served as the Clinical Lead Care Manager in Ambulatory Care at Spectrum Health from 2012 until 2020. Her aim is to instill the importance of patient-centered care across the continuum of care. Robin has worked in a variety of settings including insurance-based and primary care practices, and as a behavioral health nurse at an inpatient facility. She has extensive experience in training and onboarding hundreds of clinicians in care management roles and motivational interviewing.
