Specialty Team-Based Care (STBC)

Applying Team-Based Care Principles to Specialty Care Management and Ambulatory Care Professionals

If you are participating in the BCBS specialty pilot initiative, this is the training for you. If you are not a part of this initiative, you should be signing up for the Team-Based Care training.

This training will prepare specialty care managers and ambulatory care professionals in:

  • coordinating patient care needs with the primary care team,
  • understanding the framework for complex care management roles,
  • understanding the elements of integration into the ambulatory care setting, and
  • learning the related care management skills.
